Erin and Jeffrey Return to MDT&S

We’re delighted to share that two of the Twin Cities’ favorite ballet teachers are returning to teach at Minnesota Dance Theatre & School on a regular basis, each bringing their gift for teaching dance to our range of students, from the little ones in the Young Children’s Division to the advanced professionals in the Open Division.

Erin Baltes taught for the Young Children’s Division for more than ten years before taking a break to care for her own young children. She’s very excited to be returning to teach the Saturday morning classes for ages 4 and 5.

Erin’s formative training included Milwaukee Ballet, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Minnesota Dance Theatre. Erin danced as an apprentice with MDT and then received a B.A. in Visual Arts, Theater and Art Education from the University of Minnesota. Erin is also a substitute teacher and painting instructor.

The Young Children’s Division offers introductory ballet classes for ages 3.5 to 11. Registration is now open for the 2019-20 school year. LEARN MORE
