Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute actively
develop new avenues and collaborations of dance education
beyond the studio in order to reach students and audiences
of all backgrounds. This ensures dynamism in the development
of the art form and enriches the life of our community.

Dance in the Parks
Through the program City Children's Dance in the Parks, Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute, in collaboration with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, is offering dance classes for children ages 7 through 9 at Powderhorn Park. acclaimed local artists who present workshops and performances
in local schools and venues geared toward children. For more
